Our Commitment to Inclusion

At Rivermark Community Credit Union, diversity, equity, and inclusion are foundational to how we serve our members, support our employees, and strengthen the communities where we live and work. As a member owned financial cooperative serving Oregon and Southwest Washington, Rivermark is committed to creating a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for people of all backgrounds and lived experiences.

We are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and caring environment where everyone feels respected and supported. We celebrate the differences that make each of us who we are, including age, ability, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, language, race, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status, and lived experience. Our dedicated Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team partners with senior leadership and employees across the organization to ensure this work is intentional, ongoing, and meaningful.

We believe listening and learning never stop. All employees receive foundational DEI training, and our DEI Council shares resources and recognizes holidays that honor diverse and underrepresented communities throughout the year, including Black History Month, Pride Month, Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Women’s History Month, and Juneteenth. We also host quarterly, all staff learning sessions focused on equity, inclusion, and belonging.

We regularly gather employee feedback through annual surveys and use those insights to guide and strengthen our DEI strategy. As allies to underrepresented communities, we are committed to helping dismantle systemic barriers and to building a credit union where everyone feels included, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Employee Resource Groups

Rivermark's Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) strive to unite employees with similar – and different – life experiences to advocate for specific needs in our workplace, building awareness beyond our own experiences and biases.
