At Rivermark Community Credit Union, our mission is rooted in service to our members;  it’s the foundation of every decision we make. As a member of our compensated Board of Directors or Audit Committee, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization, ensuring strong governance, and providing executive-level oversight on behalf of the 170,000+ members who trust us with their financial well-being.
 
We offer a modest stipend for Board and Audit Committee service in recognition of the time, expertise, and responsibility the role requires and to ensure we attract and retain a broad range of skilled leaders who reflect the communities we serve.

• The Board of Directors is responsible for guiding and overseeing the general direction and affairs of the Credit Union. Director responsibilities include safeguarding member funds, reviewing and approving policies and strategic planning. Directors are also responsible for selecting and reviewing the President/CEO’s performance in achieving goals and objectives, and reporting to the members at the annual meeting.
• The Audit Committee is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Credit Union’s financial statements, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and ensuring policies and procedures are in place to protect the financial soundness of the Credit Union.
