Rivermark and longtime partner KGW are showcasing Rebuilding Together PNW as part of the KGW Local Lift series, highlighting great work by local nonprofits making a real difference in communities across Oregon and SW Washington.
Rebuilding Together promotes housing stability for low-income Portland homeowners through no-cost critical home repairs and modifications that enhance safety and livability. Their aim is to ensure these Portlanders remain in a safe, secure, and independent environment for years to come.
In 2020, the Rivermark Community Fund selected Rebuilding Together as the recipient of its annual $20,000 grant. And in 2025, Rivermark directed a $3 million grant through the support of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines to further the nonprofit’s mission of creating safer, more accessible homes for families who need it most.
KGW Local Lift shares stories of the people and organizations that lift up our Northwest neighbors in need. So the partnership a natural fit for Rivermark, aligning with our commitment to community engagement, empowerment, and philanthropy.
