Sunny Freestone

Mortgage Loan Officer

Meet Sunny

Sunny’s a big believer in the American dream of home ownership. Which might explain why he chose the professional path he did. Yet he’s also quick to acknowledge the personal side of the job. “I know my work is not necessarily personal for members,” Sunny says. “But I take personal pride in doing everything I can to serve them and offer the best possible experience.”

How personal? Sunny admits that he’s lost sleep more than once over the small details and tasks that inevitably come with buying a home. He loses sleep so his clients don’t. And the payoff? “It’s the real gratitude that I get from members,” Sunny says.

He started in customer service 40 years ago, and transitioned to mortgage lending in 2002. Now Sunny has the best of both worlds: serving members with deep professional experience and personal attention.

Sunny was born in Seoul, has lived in Hawaii, and been in Oregon now for more than 30 years. Between running, hiking, surfing, softball, bowling, and golf, Sunny has a few good options for his next day off.

Meet with Sunny at the Cedar Hills, Hollywood, or Tualatin branch!
