Changes To Your Credit Card

Key dates and important info

Note: This information is specific to legacy Advantis credit cards only; changes to due dates and billing cycles do not apply to legacy Rivermark credit cards.

On May 19, 2025, Rivermark credit card servicing is moving your credit card account to Rivermark’s go-forward card processing system. This page includes reminders and important information for legacy Advantis cardholders about your loan number, third-party sites, Digital Banking, and key conversion dates.

Due dates

Billing cycles and due dates will temporarily change, returning to the regular schedule in July.

Please see the Change in Terms notice provided in Digital Banking for details.

  • After April 25, your next payment will be due June 12
  • No payment is required in the month of May; your statement will temporarily move to a different billing cycle

New loan number

On May 19, your loan number will change from a 16-digit number to your current member number + account number. Note that the number on your credit card will not change unless you request a replacement card.

Find your new loan number (current member number + account number) in Digital Banking after May 19 by viewing the number listed under the credit card loan on your list of accounts.

Third-party financial management sites

If you have your credit card loan linked within third-party sites to view/manage your credit card with your other accounts (like QuickBooks or Rocket Money), you’ll need to re-link your credit card loan account, as you’ll have a new account number – even though your card number will not change.

You may also need to work with the third party to ensure account history from the old account number merges with history from the new account number.

The number on your card is not changing, so transactions or payments made through an online retailer or business will not require an update.

Cash Back cardholders

Your Cash Back rewards calculation is not changing, and all rewards earned and not redeemed prior to conversion will remain intact. However, there are some changes regarding your Cash Back rewards moving forward.

Earnings will no longer be shared

Previously, Cash Back earnings were tied to the account and redeemable by any cardholder. Moving forward, Cash Back is tied to each cardholder based on their individual spending, and will be redeemable only by the specific cardholder who earned it. Cash Back earned by authorized users will accumulate under the primary borrower. Note: Current Cash Back balances will be transferred to the primary borrower at conversion.

Earning balances and redemption

Cash Back balances will no longer be provided on the monthly statement. After May 19, Cash Back redemption will be done in Digital Banking. When your Cash Back transfer is complete and ready to redeem, we’ll notify you in Digital Banking. Finally, we’re currently developing a convenient new widget within Digital Banking allowing you to check balances and redeem earnings.

Digital Banking

Your credit card loan will be unavailable in Digital Banking at 8 pm on Thursday May 15 through Monday, May 19. Though you will not be able to see your credit card loan in Digital Banking during this time, you’ll still be able to use your credit card, and transactions will continue to process.

Here are a few features of your new credit card experience in Digital Banking:

  • Payments in Digital Banking will show as posted immediately when you make the payment; no more waiting for the payment to be posted at the processor
  • Real-time running balance and history will show in transaction history
  • Automatically push your credit card to your mobile wallet with the tap of a button
  • View which merchants have your card on file
  • Easily set your credit card PIN
  • Credit Card Management is being replaced by Card Controls

Note: Existing credit card controls (Merchant Controls, Limits, Alerts) will need to be re-established within Card Controls after May 19.

Frozen cards

Cards you’ve frozen in Credit Card Management will remain frozen from 8 pm on Thursday, May 15 through Monday, May 19. Cards that were previously frozen will be unfrozen once conversion is complete on May 19.

If you would like the card frozen after conversion, you will need to re-freeze the card in Card Controls by changing the “Card is ON” toggle to the “Card is OFF” toggle.
