Keep in mind some simple steps if you have reason to believe that your personal or account information has been stolen, hacked, or otherwise compromised.
- Beware of phishing attempts through email, text, and phone calls.
- Review, improve, and strengthen your password habits.
- Set up a credit freeze and/or fraud alerts on your credit file.
