What is it?
Auto Rental Collision Damage Waiver (ARCDW) eliminates the need for you to pay for the collision damage waiver when renting a car. You'll simply need to use your Rivermark Visa to pay for your rental car and decline the insurance coverage offered by the rental car provider.

You'll be reimbursed for repair or replacement of a damaged rental vehicle due to collision, theft or other physical damages, up to the actual cash value of most rental cars.*

The cardholder and all those permitted by the auto rental contract as additional drivers are covered. The program will cover rentals up to 15 days within the U.S. and up to 31 days outside of the U.S.

This Benefit Covers:

  • Physical damage and theft of the covered rental vehicle
  • Valid loss-of-use charges imposed and substantiated by the auto rental company
  • Reasonable and customary towing charges, due to covered theft or damage, to the nearest qualified repair facility

How do I file a claim? 

Filing a claim is easy!  Collect your documents (auto rental agreement, rental dates, etc.) and go to or call 1.800.348.8472. 

*Excluded countries include Ireland, Northern Ireland, Israel, Jamaica and other countries where precluded by law or in violation of the territory terms of the rental agreement. Other restrictions, limitations and exclusions may apply.

How does it work? 

When tickets are purchased with your Rivermark Visa, you'll get $250,000 of Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage for accidents that occur on a common carrier (airline, rail, bus, ferry, cruise line, etc.).

Full benefits are paid for loss of life, and full or partial benefits are paid for covered injuries resulting in the loss of limbs or eyesight.

This benefit is paid regardless of other insurance coverage you may have.

Losing luggage can ruin a trip. Luckily, you're covered when you use your Rivermark Visa. 

How does it work? 

Lost Luggage Reimbursement provides you and your family with reimbursement up to $1,250 for the cost of replacing your checked luggage and its contents. Coverage applies for common carrier tickets including airline, rail, bus, cruise line, etc. 

How do I file a claim? 

Filing a claim is easy!  Simply collect your documents (lost luggage report, dates of travel, etc) and visit, call 1.800.757.1274 or email Note that claims must be made within 20 days of the date luggage was lost or stolen. 

Emergencies happen. Visa has options to keep Rivermark cardholders covered. 

Emergency Card Replacement

Cards get lost, damaged or stolen all the time. This unique service will deliver you an emergency card via a sophisticated global distribution network within three business days*.

Emergency Cash Disbursement

Should you find yourself in the difficult situation that you need emergency cash and your card has been lost or stolen, you may be able to get an emergency cash disbursement. 

To access emergency cash, call Visa Global Customer Care Services at 1.800.847.2911 (within the US) or one of Visa's global assistance phone numbers (internationally).

Identity theft happens. With your Rivermark Visa, you may receive monetary reimbursement should it happen to you. 

How Does it Work? 
You can receive reimbursement for expenses incurred to restore your identity up to $5,000. 

This covers:

  • Lost wages for time taken off to correct an identity theft event
  • Costs incurred to obtain credit reports and resubmit applications for loans, grants and credit or debt instruments
  • Costs incurred for notarizing affidavits, long-distance phone calls and postage
  • Legal fees, if an attorney is needed

How do I file a claim?

Cell phone protection can be expensive. Save an average of $5/month in cell phone insurance costs, just for using your Rivermark Rewards Visa to pay your mobile bill. 

What is it?

Receive supplemental reimbursement for damage or theft of a cell phone of up to $100 per claim*. Simply use your Rivermark Rewards Visa to pay your monthly mobile phone bill. 


  • $100 per claim / $200 per 12-month period ($50 deductible)
