Do you offer a notary service?

Do you offer a notary service?

Yes, we do offer notary services free of charge to members. We suggest scheduling an appointment with a notary at a branch in advance.

We will not notarize wills, power of attorney, trusts, certifying copies, mortgage deeds not related to Rivermark loans, vital statistic records and public records, photographs, I-9 Forms, and handwritten documents.

The following guidelines apply to our notary service:

  • Please bring current, unexpired government-issued photo identification to your appointment.
  • In order to notarize documents for minors, please discuss the identification requirements for the minor in advance of your appointment.
  • For blank or incomplete documents, please complete or write N/A in blank spaces.
  • Your document should have the proper notarial certificate.
  • We will notarize documents in a foreign language only if we are fluent in the language the document was written in. Please discuss in advance.
  • If the document asks for a witness along with a notary signature, be sure to provide someone who would be willing to sign as your witness at the time of notary.
