Electronic Document Delivery Consent
Please read before registering for electronic delivery of loan and account documents and disclosures
Consumer Disclosure Regarding Conducting Business Electronically, Receiving Electronic Notices and Disclosures, and Signing Documents Electronically
By proceeding forward and signing this document you agree that you have reviewed the following consumer disclosure information and consent to transact business using electronic communications, to accept electronic delivery of various deposit and loan account forms and disclosures (Agreements), including amendments made to each from time to time, and to utilize electronic signatures in lieu of using paper documents. The following terms and conditions will apply to our delivery and your receipt of the above Agreements electronically. If you have agreed to the terms and conditions of the Agreements, your obligations are effective upon your receipt of these forms and disclosures either online or in paper form. Electronic delivery may be made via email or by using a secure portal, which may include Rivermark’s Online Banking.
In the event any change to any of these Agreements requires prior notice to you, the Credit Union will notify you by e-mail at the e-mail address you have provided of the new or different terms and conditions, or will provide you with a link within such e-mail where you may view the new or different terms and conditions on a web site. You understand and agree that the Credit Union reserves the right to provide any such notices to you in printed form.
You have the ability to download and print any documents we send to you through the electronic signature system, however you are not required to receive notices or disclosures or sign documents electronically and may request paper copies of documents or disclosures if you prefer to do so. You also have the ability to download and print any open or signed documents sent to you through the electronic signature system using the PDF and Print icons. We may also email you a PDF copy of all Agreements you sign using the electronic signature service. If you wish to receive paper copies in lieu of electronic documents you may close this web browser and request paper copies from Rivermark by following the procedures outlined below.
Scope of Online Consent
Your consent to receive and sign electronic documents includes deposit and loan account forms (membership application, account change forms, loan application and modifications forms) deposit and loan agreements and disclosures (Membership & Account Agreement, Funds Availability Policy, Electronic Funds Transfer Agreement, Truth-in-Savings Disclosures, Loan Agreements and Truth-in-Lending Disclosures), and other forms, Agreements and disclosures related to your account or loan (which may include payment protection or insurance forms, copies of appraisals and other valuations, and miscellaneous disclosures and correspondence).
To access and sign electronic documents, you must have access to a computer with a standards-compliant web-browser which supports the HTTPS protocol, HTML, and cookies, and a printer or ability to download the documents for your records. Viewing PDF documents requires additional software such as Adobe Reader or similar.
Withdrawal of Consent
You have the right to withdraw your consent to receive documentation online by giving us instructions by phone, mail or e-mail to withdraw your consent and to provide your future documents, notices, and disclosures in paper format. There are no fees or restrictions for choosing to withdraw your consent for online disclosures or requesting any paper copy of the Agreement. You have the right to request and receive a paper copy of your deposit or loan account disclosures at any time by contacting any branch office or requesting the documents by telephone at 503.626.6600 or 800.452.8502 or e-mail Member Services through our website: www.rivermarkcu.org.
