Great Food Drive

Rivermark is a proud sponsor of the KGW Great Food Drive. More than 10 million pounds of food have been donated since our involvement began in 2017, providing over 8,500,000 meals to local families. We appreciate every dollar you donate to the Oregon Food Bank through the KGW Great Food Drive! We are accepting cash donations at all of our branches through the end of March, or you can make a donation online.

Rivermark Community Credit Union announced that it has been certified as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) by the U.S. Department of Treasury. CDFIs are mission driven organizations that focus on serving low-income and underserved communities. Rivermark joins 1,300+ financial institutions nationwide, and just 10 Oregon based credit unions to achieve this certification.

Child Tax Credit Changes

Recently, there were changes made to the child tax credit that will benefit many taxpayers. The IRS will pay half the credit in the form of advance monthly payments beginning July 15. Taxpayers will then claim the other half when they file their 2021 income tax return. Please remember to consult your tax advisor to see how these changes may impact your personal financial situation.

Lighthouse Merger

We are excited to announce that the members of Lighthouse Community Credit Union voted by an overwhelming majority to merge with Rivermark Community Credit Union. The vote was the final step for merger approval, having already been approved by state and federal regulators and both credit union’s boards of directors. To accommodate system upgrades, all Rivermark branches will be closed on Saturday, July 31.
