Last week, vendors, staff and the community turned out at the Reserve Vineyard and Golf Club in Aloha for Rivermark’s 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Participants enjoyed a beautiful day of food, fun and, of course, golf! The sold-out tournament raised over $25,000 for the Rivermark Community Fund. That money will go towards grants that encourage local entrepreneurship, small business growth and economic opportunity in our community.
Along with golf, participants had opportunities to win great prizes along the course. Our member Michael Godsey won a 1991 Alpha Romeo Spider from our hole-in-one sponsor Auto Solution. When questioned about insurance on the car, Michael responded "I know a great place to get a loan and insurance!".
Many businesses and organizations came out to support, including other local credit unions. We were thrilled to have our friends from Consolidated Community Credit Union, Fibre Federal Credit Union, Oregonians Credit Union, Unitus Credit Union, Advantis Credit Union and NW Preferred Federal Credit Union out playing. Congratulations to the team at Viper Construction, who took home first place in the tournament! A 58 on 18 holes; we’ll continue our audit.

Thank you to our players, volunteers and sponsors who helped to make this event a huge success. We hope to see you on the green in 2019!
