As this school year winds down, Rivermark is proud to present checks to Nancy Ryles Elementary for $235 and Scholls Heights Elementary for $1,223 as part of the Rivermark School Savers Program. The program was started in 2011/12 following the opening of the Progress Ridge branch in Beaverton. Over the past 3-years, this unique elementary school partnership has helped raise over $7,000 for these local schools.
The School Savers Program was developed to teach kids how to deposit money into a savings account and to help encourage them to keep saving. Kids are rewarded for their progress by receiving a special prize once they reach 10 deposits.
The schools are also rewarded for their participation. For every child who opens a new savings account, Rivermark donates $25 to that child's school. Then Rivermark matches up to $5 of each child’s deposit on scheduled deposit days throughout the school year.
If your school would like to be considered for the program for the 2014/2015 school year please let us know.
