As you may have seen in the news, Target recently experienced a data breach. If you shopped at a Target store between November 27 and December 15, your debit or credit card information may have been compromised.
The breach only affected cards used in the stores and appears not to have affected members who shopped at Target's online stores.
Although account data was exposed, it does not necessarily mean that fraud will occur on your account. Nevertheless, we are taking this breach seriously and have card monitoring programs in place to detect suspicious activity.
If you used your Rivermark debit or credit card at Target during that time, we strongly encourage you to monitor your account history and call us immediately if you notice any suspicious activity.
Rivermark cardholders are protected with Visa's Zero Liability policy. That means you pay nothing for unauthorized transactions on your account if you report them to us within 60 days of your statement mailing date.
