Paid Time Off

Volunteer Time OffOur paid time off program may be used for vacation, personal time off or illness. Paid time off hours accrue the first of the month after your date of hire. The hours accrued during the introductory period are credited for use effective the first payroll period following the completion of three months of service.

Full-time employees accrue three weeks of paid time off annually during their first five years of employment, four weeks annually after five years of service, five weeks annually after ten years of service and six weeks annually after 20 years of service.  Part-time employees accrue a prorated amount of paid time off, based on the same schedule.

The Credit Union observes nine paid holidays. In addition, employees are eligible for two floating holidays to be taken each calendar year, beginning the calendar year following date of hire.

Volunteer Time Off

Full-time and part-time employees receive paid time off to volunteer at any non-profit/not-for-profit organization.

Paid Parental Leave

Paid parental leave is provided following the birth of an employee’s child or the placement of a child with an employee as the result of adoption or foster care. Qualified employees may receive up to three weeks of paid parental leave.

The Credit Union places a high value on employee wellness and active lifestyles. We provide you with tools and resources that put you in control of your personal health, lifestyle and work/life balance.

Learning & Development

Rivermark understands the importance of continuing education, so we provide financial assistance to full-time and part-time employees who wish to further their education by completing undergraduate degree classes and/or professional certification courses and exams. Leadership development opportunities are also available.
