How does Rivermark Real Estate Services work?
You’ll have a team of Real Estate professionals working for you throughout the process. A Member Advocate will work with you to define your needs and select a certified Real Estate Agent that can best meet them. Your Advocate, Real Estate Agent and Rivermark Loan Consultant will work together to find you the right home and the right loan.

How much can I expect to receive for the Cash Back Rebate?
After closing, you’ll get a rebate worth 20% of your agent’s commission. Your rebate is based on the selling price of the home you buy and/or sell. Double your savings by buying and selling through Rivermark Real Estate Services!

Cash back examples are based upon the commission paid to the Certified Real Estate Broker who is representing you when you purchase or sell a home. The example assumes a total commission of 6% of the sales price shared equally between the Listing Broker and the Selling Broker (3% each), one of whom is representing you. Who makes up the team of Real Estate Professionals
Your team of Real Estate professionals will work for you, letting you focus on everyday life while they ease you through the transaction. Your team will include:
- The Member Advocate. The Member Advocate is your ongoing contact with Rivermark Real Estate Services. Your Advocate explains how the program works, helps match you with the best Real Estate Agent and stays with you until you are settled in your new home. Your advocate will be there to answer questions, arrange services and to work with the Real Estate Agent.
- The Real Estate Agent. Only the best Agents are certified to work with our members. You’ll find them to be creative, market-knowledgeable, and skillful throughout this important event.
- Rivermark Mortgage Loan Officers. Rivermark will help you find the ideal loan for your dream home. You’ll enjoy a simple, easy process and receive $100 off Rivermark’s mortgage closing costs (through June 30, 2008). **

How is my Real Estate Agent selected for me?
Our hand-selected, specially trained Certified Real Estate Agents have submitted a personal profile to Real Estate Services. Your Member Advocate will spend time getting to know you, and then will carefully match you with the agent for you.

What if I prefer a different Agent than the one my Member Advocate selects for me?
On the rare occasion that you feel your agent was not a good match for you, please feel free to discuss with your Member Advocate. Describe other details that you are looking for in an Agent and your Advocate will find you a more appropriately suited agent.

Can I select my own agent outside of the program?
To receive all the benefits of the program, including the Cash Back Rebate, you must use a Certified Real Estate Services Agent. If you’re already working with an agent, you may still have an opportunity to participate.

Where is this Program available?
The Program is available in all 50 states. However, the Cash Back rebate is only available for transactions financed by Rivermark Community Credit Union. Rivermark can only finance properties located in Oregon, Washington and Idaho.

Who is eligible to participate?
Rivermark members are eligible to participate unless you have entered into any of the following contracts:
- Purchase and Sale Agreement
- Exclusive Buyer Agency Agreement
- Listing Agreement
- Current registration in any Real Estate Affinity or Rebate Program
- Agreement with employer for reimbursement for any real estate related costs or through relocation or purchase program of any type.

What if I’m already working with an agent for my sale or purchase?
If you are obligated under a listing agreement, you may use Rivermark Real Estate Services for the purchase of your new home. Likewise, if you are already working with a real estate agent for the purchase of your home, you may use Rivermark Real Estate Services to sell your existing home.
Member must agree to use an agent referred to them through the program. Agents outside the Program are not eligible to participate.
Real Estate Services is only available for single-family and multi-family (up to four units) residential properties, including, but not limited to, Condominiums, PUDs, and qualifying manufactured homes. This service includes owner-occupied homes, second/vacation homes and investment properties.
