How to Open a Business Membership

1. At least one business owner (with designated authority) must be present to open the business membership.
2. Please provide the credit union with legible photocopies of current government issued photo identification for each signer.
3. Please be prepared to provide the following business documentation based on your business type:

Sole Proprietorship

General Partnership

Limited Liability Partnership

Limited Partnership

Limited Liability Company

Corporation (Including C, S, and Non-Profit Corp)

Association (Including Non-profit Assoc)

Mistakes happen. That’s why we recommend that all members take advantage of overdraft protection. You can select the Rivermark savings or Visa you would like us to access in the event of an overdraft. Here’s an example:

How it Works

1. Transfer from Savings

First, we check your savings (or other accounts) to see if funds are available to transfer.  If so, the transfer is made for $5.

2. Advance from Visa

Next, we check your Visa. If funds are available, we advance the money to your checking with no fee (interest will accrue until the advance plus interest is paid).

3. Courtesy Pay

Finally, your checking account comes with Courtesy Pay. If funds are not available to transfer, a $30 fee applies for each overdraft transaction. We will pay items up to your overdraft limit ($600 - $800 depending on your account type and qualifications).
